Disney Trip Planner

Unofficial and fan-made · not affiliated with Disney

One Walt Disney World plan the whole family shares.

Disney Trip Planner keeps your trip in one place: the dates, the park for each day, what to ride first, dining reservations and the days bookings open. Invite your crew with a link and everyone sees the same plan, on their own phone.

Join during the beta, before December 1, 2026, and it's free until January 1, 2027. Then $10 a year per family: the person who makes the trip pays, everyone they invite joins free. No ads.

The Disney Trip Planner calendar: one card per day with the morning and afternoon plan and the park
The Disney Trip Planner dashboard: days until check-in, plans done, the trip dates and the next booking deadline
A Disney Trip Planner day page: the park with arrive and depart times and a checklist of rides in order

Key dates · park challenges

Never miss the day bookings open

Put in your check-in date and where you're staying, and the planner works out the dates that matter, with a countdown to each one. The next deadline sits on your dashboard.

  • Dining reservations: 60 days before check-in, at 6:00 AM Eastern.
  • Lightning Lane: 7 days before check-in if you stay on property, 3 days if you don't.
  • In the parks: family challenges like Mountain Master and Park Bingo, shared by the whole crew, with a pin for each one you finish.
Disney Trip Planner key dates: the day dining reservations open, the day Lightning Lane booking opens, and check-in, with days to go
Disney Trip Planner challenges: family challenges like Mountain Master and Around the World in 11 Bites, with progress

Key dates and Challenges, from the app's sample trip (a made-up family, the Parkers).

What Disney Trip Planner does

Shown above: the calendar, the dashboard and a day page from the app's sample trip, which you can open yourself without an account.

One plan the whole crew edits

Send an invite link. Everyone who joins sees the same trip and can add to it; changes save by themselves and show up for everyone. See who has been in lately.

Trip Wizard

A few quick steps: the trip name, your dates, who's going, where you're staying and your dining reservations. It builds a page for every day. Change it later without losing your plans.

A page for every day

The park, when you arrive and leave, and checklists for the morning, the afternoon and the night. Tick things off as you go, and print or save the days as a PDF.

Countdown and key dates

Days until check-in, how much of the plan is done, and the next booking deadline, right on the dashboard.

Park hours and the weather

Fill in each day's park hours, early entry and evening events with one tap, and see a 16-day forecast for the parks as your trip gets close.

Closures and refurbishments

A dashboard card lists rides and spots that are closed or coming up for refurbishment, and flags the ones that fall during your trip.

Challenges and pins

Family games for the parks: Mountain Master, Around the World in 11 Bites, Park Bingo and more. The whole crew shares the progress, and finished challenges go on your lanyard.

Find the Crew

Split up for different rides? Tap Share my spot and your group sees where you last checked in, on simple park maps. Only when you tap it, and gone after 4 hours.

Made for your phone

Use it in the parks from your phone, and add it to your home screen so it opens like an app. It works on a computer too, for the big planning nights.

Also inside: a Party Night page for a ticketed evening event, your dining reservations list, Info & Hours with your own checklists and links, the festivals that are on during your dates, and resort recreation like golf, fishing and boats.

The Disney Trip Planner Been There tracker: rides by park to check off and rate with stars

Been There: every ride, snack and show you've done

A lifelong checklist across every trip: rides, restaurants, snacks, shows, characters, tours, resorts and hidden gems. Check off what you've done, give it stars, and add a note.

Rides that are down for refurbishment or closed are marked for you, and ones that are gone for good move to a Legacy list, so your memories stay.

How it works

  1. Make your trip

Create your account and answer the Trip Wizard: your dates, who's going and where you're staying.

  2. Invite your crew

Send the invite link to the family. They make their own sign-in and join your trip free.

  3. Plan it, then live it

Fill in each day at home, then use it in the parks: check things off, play the challenges, find each other.

Simple pricing

One price for the whole family, no matter how many people you invite.

Disney Trip Planner

Join before December 1, 2026: free until January 1, 2027

$10 a year per family

The person who makes the trip pays; everyone they invite joins free. Everything on this page.

Open the planner
  • Everyone you invite joins free
  • No ads
  • Every feature on this page
  • Your name, email and trip plans are used only to run your planner and are never sold

When the beta ends: if you join before December 1, 2026, you use it free until January 1, 2027, and we'll email you a month before. New accounts from December 1 pay $10 a year when they make their trip. If a trip's owner doesn't pay, the trip stays read-only: everyone on it can still open and print it, and it's kept for a year, with an email before anything is deleted. Want to look around first? Try the sample trip, no account needed.

Questions

Is this an official Disney app?

No. Disney Trip Planner is unofficial and fan-made by Doss Labs. It is not affiliated with, authorized or endorsed by the Walt Disney Company. For tickets, park reservations, dining and Lightning Lane bookings, use Disney's own website and app; this planner helps you keep track of it all.

Can I try it before I make an account?

Yes. Open the sample trip, a made-up family's five-day trip, and click through the dashboard, calendar, day pages, Been There and Challenges. Your changes stay on your own device.

Who pays, and does everyone need an account?

The person who makes the trip pays $10 a year for the family. Everyone they invite makes their own free sign-in and joins the same trip. If you join during the beta (before December 1, 2026), nobody pays until January 1, 2027.

What happens when the beta ends?

On January 1, 2027 the free beta ends for everyone who joined before December 1, 2026; we email you a month before. To keep planning, the trip owner pays $10 a year. If they don't, the trip stays read-only: everyone on it can still open and print it, and it's kept for a year, with an email before anything is deleted. Nothing is charged without you choosing to pay.

Does Find the Crew track us?

No. Your spot is shared only when you tap Share my spot while the planner is open, only with the people on your trip, and it disappears after 4 hours. You can remove it any time. It is not a safety service.

Are the park hours and closures always right?

They come from public sources and are checked often, but they can be wrong or change. Check Disney's official calendar and app before you go.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. It's built for phones first. Add it to your home screen and it opens like an app.

Who do I ask for help?

Email dtp@dosslabs.com, or use Send feedback inside the planner.
